WHAT: "Chamber Music Series Autumn 2012" performed by the DieMahler String Quartet, led by Maestro Pablo Diemecke.

DESCRIPTION: Pablo Diemecke, one of the world's extraordinary virtuoso violinists, will perform with the DieMahler String Quartet, consisting of Pablo Diemecke (founder and leader), Larry Skaggs (former principal cellist and frequent soloist with the Victoria Symphony), Martine Denbok (Second Violin), and Elizabeth Massi (Viola).

 

Maestro Diemecke (widely known as the vibrant former concert master of the Victoria Symphony for 20 years), with a lengthy career of worldwide performance as a soloist and chamber artist, has a unique invigorating touch in handling the bow, which lends a distinctive expressiveness that places him in the league of outstanding world class violinists.  Maestro Larry Skaggs, is a deeply expressive world class cellist whose superb musical artistry provides a gorgeous musical depth to the quartet.  Both Martine and Elizabeth, recent graduates of advanced musical studies, provide admirable energetic accompaniment to the two virtuoso masters of the quartet.  These four marvelous artists combine their talents to produce rich and vigorous live music to delight the music connoisseur.
