DieMahler Chamber Series 2014

DESCRIPTION: Like a different sparkling gem in a treasure box, each concert in this beautiful series offers a different flavour of musical colours and textures, with varied repertoire, from virtuoso classical works to gorgeous light romatic works that explore the wide range of musical emotion and expression.  The DieMahler Ensemble specialises in masterful musical artistry, vibrancy, character, and very deep feeling, leaving no musical path unexplored.

"Dia de la Amistad"-"Valentine's Day".  String Quartet Op 20 No. 4 by Haydn-String Quartet Op. 12 by Mozart and some more light romantic Music!

"Movie's Sound Tracks". 

Some wonderful sound tracks from famous movies! “The Red Violin”, a virtuoso violin piece play by Pablo Diemecke, Selections from the Phantom of the opera with Mary Kirkwood, soprano, Kevin Frances, baritone.

The Ensemble will be performing Beethoven 5th for strings first movement, Moonlight from “Immortal beloved”, Symphony No 25, first movement from “Amadeus”, Il Postino, Dr. Zhivago, Shindler's List and others.

"Back to Bach". Brandenburg No 3, original version. Bach Concerto in E Major,  Chaconne for solo violin in a wonderful quartet arrangement, "Aria on the G String".

"Latin Extravaganza". Special arragement by Rainer Roth for the DieMahler Ensemble of the El Amor Brujo by Manuel de Falla and others Spanish and  latin composers.

"Russian Masters". Shostakovich String Quartet, No TBA Glazunov No 1-Glinka and Borodin's Nocturne
